Reflection of My Junior Year

So far this semester and half of the school year has gone by very fast. In this semester I have learned a lot in all of my new classes. My favorite classes so far have to be Algebra II, Spanish II, and Desktop Publishing because I am good at them. My least favorite classes are probably English, Chemistry, and United States History because they are harder for me to understand. Even though these classes are harder I still like all of my teachers. Playing football this fall was also very fun for me and even though the season is over I still have baseball to look forward to this spring. Baseball is my favorite sport and that is what I am most looking forward to this next semester.

Bullying in "The Crucible"

The novel “The Crucible” also involves many bullies. In this novel, one of the main bullies is a young woman named Abigail Williams. Abigail first accuses Tituba of doing which craft even thought she was also a part of it. Abigail says that she was forced into doing which craft by Tituba, but that was a lie.

Tituba is not the only one that was bullied by Abigail. Abigail even bullied her own friends into lying with her so that she would not be accused of which craft and she knows that she was. She threatens to hurt them if they don’t do as she says to do.

Last, Abigail and her friends accuse many other people of their village of which craft even if they were not a part of it and cause them to be hung in front of a large cheering crowd.

Summary of "The Kite Runner"

I think that this book was a fairly good book to read. I do not read much, so it is hard for me to get into books, but I did enjoy this one.

I discovered in this book that there was a lot of bullying going on. I don’t think that anybody should ever bully any other person because it hurts other people’s feelings. After reading this book I try even harder not to bully anyone because I saw what happened to the boys in this book.

Also after reading “The Kite Runner” I learned a lot about how people live in Afghanistan and how much different it is over there, rather than here in the United States. This book helps me realize how appreciative I am to live in the U.S.

Bullying in "The Kite Runner"

In this book, many kids are bullied. One of the boys that gets bullied is Amir. Amir gets bullied by Assef. Assef is an older boy that makes fun of Amir and even abuses him in harmful ways. Hassan, who is Amir’s half-brother saw how Assef bullied and even raped Amir but he did not do anything about it because he was too scared. Once Amir found out that Hassan did not help him Amir began to bully Hassan.

Bullying is something that should never be done because it doesn’t make anybody feel better, it just makes them feel worse. Even though bullying happens all the time, and everyone does it sometimes, it is still not the right thing to do.
